One of the thousands "F*ck Yeah" Tumblogs here on Tumblr. This one is dedicated to Spanish/Catalan midfielder Xavi Hernández (25 January, 1980, Terrassa, province of Barcelona, Spain). He is a regular starter on FC Barcelona in Spain as well as the Spanish national team. He is regarded as being one of the best, if not the best, player in his position (center midfield/offensive midfield) and in 2009 finished third in the FIFA World Player rankings of the best football players in the world. In 2010 he was one of three finalists for the FIFA Ballon d'Or award, and he was recently voted "Best Catalan Footballer of All-Time" by readers of the Catalan newspaper Ara. izarrakbegi: Messi was obviously man of the match (duhhhhh), but here is someone who came onto the pitch with five minutes left in regulation time, was recovering from a leg injury, and managed to score a goal anyway. Like.  Please.  Everyone else is practically second-rate.  Not really though. And I don’t have a Messi jersey.
